MOMW Mental Wellbeing Course


A twelve week engaging, enjoyable and motivating course

Course Provider:

MOMW Limited is a learning provider and supplier of this twelve week course on mental wellbeing. An effective course, created and structured to give help in education, employment, families and individuals who are facing the challenges of mental health.


Aims of the course:

  • To help better control body and mind;
  • To help participants have greater control over their mental wellbeing;


Technical requirements for the course online:

For this online course the following will help: to have a computer with speakers, microphone, webcam, a modern browser such as chrome. Having a computer is a start but with a good internet connection, such as broadband for example.


Assessment:

A short verbal assessment is conducted weekly and participants also have a self-assessment table to complete each week.


Career path:

Possibility of becoming a MOMW club leader or a course facilitator.

Entry requirements:

Being able to follow an online course and work as part of an online group. In some cases, participants may have to show a letter from their GP confirming that they are fit to follow the course, while waiting for additional treatment.


Length of the course:

The course length is 12 weeks but anyone who needs to  repeat it for consolidation can do so.


Weekly study:

There are tasks and challenges to complete weekly to help you recreate your own personalised mental wellbeing pattern.


Progression:

Progression is evaluated weekly at the beginning of the course and in addition, participants are encouraged to have a supporting companion to help during the course as well as support received from the facilitator/teacher.


Certification:

Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course and following the weekly short assessments.

As we develop a better knowledge of ourselves physically and emotionally, we come to better understand ourseves, better trust ourselves and better deal with life's struggles, in our body and mind.

Then we are able to find out how to manage with difficulties and we are able to better express ourselves through what we do, feel and think.

Finally, we come to a stage when we are able to retrieve and make our own happiness from an inner well within us, to a point that It feels like developping a new lifestyle.
